Basic Office Software Training Curricula

Field-Tested and Adapted by CTCs

 

In 2004, Microsoft released the Unlimited Potential (UP) Community Learning Curriculum. CTCNet proposed to test the curriculum by working with five CTCNet members* to review, edit as needed, and field-test the curriculum at their centers. The project and the CTCs produced 14 modified curricula adapted for specific populations that commonly attend centers. Two of the curricula are available in Spanish.

These customized curricula include step-by-step training instructions and supporting student materials on the following topics.

• Word Processing Fundamentals
• Spreadsheet Fundamentals
• Database Fundamentals
• Presentation Fundamentals
